Irvine, California - May 4, 2013 - CommerceWest Bank was a returning sponsor for the Otis College 31st Annual Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show. Otis College is a non-profit institution that hosts the largest fashion runway show in Los Angeles. The show provides scholarships to artists and designers to help them complete their education that they would not be able to otherwise afford.

Ivo Tjan, Chairman and CEO of CommerceWest Bank, commented, "It is great to see the students' vision and hard work become a reality. We maintain a clear vision by being passionate about what we do, just like the students have done at Otis. We are proud of continuing to invest in our community to provide an opportunity for these students to showcase their talents."

Susan P. Crank, President and CEO of The Lunada Bay Corporation and a Board of Trustee for Otis College, stated, "I am proud that CommerceWest Bank has sponsored Otis College of Art + Design’s Scholarship Benefit. 86% of our students receive financial aid, and more than 40% are the first in their family to attend college. Otis has a very diverse student body and represents an important investment in the creative economy in the Los Angeles and Orange County regions."
