Irvine, California – July 25, 2016 – CommerceWest Bank reported net income for the three months ended June 30, 2016 of $1,256,000 or $0.30 per common share, compared with net income of $1,011,000 or $0.24 per common share for the three months ended June 30, 2015, an EPS increase of 25%. Net income for the six months ended June 30, 2016 was $2,309,000 or $0.55 per common share, compared with net income of $2,012,000 or $0.48 per common share for the six months ended June 30, 2015, an EPS increase of 15%.    

Irvine, California – June 09, 2016 - CommerceWest Bank made an inaugural equity investment to Clearinghouse Community Development Financial Institution (Clearinghouse CDFI) in the amount of $250,000.  The investment will benefit distressed communities throughout Southern California.  The investment will increase Clearinghouse CDFI’s ability to continue to address unmet credit needs in the community’s distressed areas. WHW provides skills and rsources for the unemployed and underemployed to get and keep a good job. Their job seekers include survivors of domestic violence, veterans, at-risk youth and many more individuals.

Irvine, California – February 3, 2016 – CommerceWest Bank reported pre-tax earnings of $1,527,000 for the three months ended December 31, 2015 as compared to $303,000 for the three months ended December 31, 2014, an increase of 404%.   Pre-tax earnings for the twelve months ended December 31, 2015 were $6,572,000 as compared to $4,174,000 million for the twelve months ended December 31, 2014, an increase of 57%.

Irvine, California – October 27, 2015 – CommerceWest Bank reported pre-tax earnings of $1,831,000 for the three months ended September 30, 2015 as compared to $1,347,000 for the three months ended September 30, 2014, an increase of 36%.  Pre-tax earnings for the nine months ended September 30, 2015 were $5,045,000 as compared to $3,871,000 million for the nine months ended September 30, 2014, an increase of 30%.

Irvine, California – October 10, 2015 –CommerceWest Bank joined Augie’s Quest to help in the fight to cure ALS.  The purpose of Augie’s Quest is to fund research and drug development aimed at ending ALS, Lou Gehrig’s disease.  Augie’s Quest benefits the ALS Therapy Development Institute.  Bert Selva, President and CEO of Shea Homes was honored as the 2015 Founders Award Recipient.
